Elevate Electrical was contracted by a major logistics client in Sandyford Business Park to modernize their 20,000 sq ft facility's electrical distribution infrastructure to accommodate automated packing lines and high-capacity battery charging stations.

Engineering Scope Delivered:

• Installation of a new Form 2B 400A low-voltage Main Distribution Board (MDB) with integral Type 1+2 Surge Protection.
• 120 meters of overhead 250A sandwich busbar trunking allowing flexible power drops to automated sorting conveyors.
• Replacement of 48 legacy metal-halide fixtures with high-efficiency 150W DALI dimmable LED high-bay fixtures with daylight harvesting.
• Full Safe Electric Cert No. 1 commissioning and thermal imaging baseline verification.

Results & Operational Impact:

The facility reduced lighting electricity consumption by 62%, gained full protection against ESB supply surges, and achieved zero downtime throughout the scheduled 10-day installation period under the on-site supervision of Dean Merrigan.
