Statutory Electrical Verification for Commercial Landlords & Employers

Under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and General Application Regulations 2007, commercial employers and duty holders have a legal obligation to ensure electrical installations are safe and regularly inspected.

Elevate Electrical conducts comprehensive Periodic Inspection Reports (PIR) across Dublin and Leinster. Our master engineers, led by Dean Merrigan, systematically test every circuit for continuity, insulation resistance, loop impedance, RCD tripping times, and phase balance according to I.S. 10101:2020.

What Our Commercial PIR Includes:

• Non-Destructive Visual Inspection: Detailed examination of distribution boards, cable runs, containment, bonding, and earthing conductors.
• Calibrated Instrument Testing: Live dead testing using calibrated multifunction testers with recorded values for every protective device.
• Defect Categorization (C1, C2, C3): Immediate notification of C1 (danger present) and C2 (potentially dangerous) issues, with remedial quote provided.
• Safe Electric Completion Certification: Formal issuance of Safe Electric Periodic Inspection Certificates recognized by all Irish insurance brokers.
